Our take

Hi Dotikers!

In recent months, Microsoft Copilot has reached several milestones. This week marks a major turning point: Microsoft is launching App Builder and Workflows, two agents that transform Copilot into a true creation tool. Now, any employee can create applications, automate processes, or deploy conversational agents simply by describing their needs in natural language.

Concretely, App Builder allows you to create and deploy applications in just minutes, without configuring a database. Dashboards, calculators, tracking lists: you describe, preview, refine, all within Copilot. What's really powerful is that the app draws directly from your Microsoft 365 documents and can generate new data via Microsoft Lists. Sharing? As simple as a link.

On the automation side, Workflows handles sending emails, reminders, calendar management, and team updates across Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Planner. You see each step build in real time and can adjust within the same conversation. No need to be a developer to automate your repetitive tasks.

And that's not all: a streamlined version of Copilot Studio is now integrated directly into Copilot, allowing you to create conversational agents that answer your teams' questions by drawing from SharePoint, emails, chats, and even external systems like ServiceNow or Jira.

You might be wondering what distinguishes Copilot App Builder from tools like Lovable? The difference is simple: Lovable excels at creating standalone, exportable web apps, perfect for a prototype or standalone project. Copilot App Builder, on the other hand, is all about native integration. Your creations are automatically connected to your Microsoft 365 data, secured according to your company rules, and instantly deployable to your colleagues. Admins manage everything from the admin center with granular control.
