Our take
Hi Dotikers!
Anthropic just gave Claude for Legal a serious upgrade, and it says a lot about where enterprise AI is heading. The latest release adds pre-built templates, interactive artifacts like contract trackers and regulatory dashboards, and more than 60 integrations that let legal teams plug Claude directly into the tools they already live in: contract lifecycle systems, document management, e-discovery platforms, and firm-specific databases.
The interesting part is not the feature list. It is the design philosophy. Every output comes with a link to its source, and the system is built to verify citations before handing the file back to a human lawyer. In a profession where hallucinated case law has already landed real attorneys in front of very unamused judges, this is not a nice-to-have. It is the price of admission.
And the market is clearly ready to pay attention. According to a 2026 FTI Consulting and Relativity report, 87% of general counsel now say their teams use generative AI, up from 44% just a year earlier. That is one of the fastest adoption curves in any knowledge-work function, and Anthropic claims legal professionals are already its most engaged Cowork users. Turns out the people billing by the hour are surprisingly motivated to save a few.
This move confirms something worth repeating: the generic chatbot era is over. The real value now sits in vertical, deeply integrated tools that respect how an industry actually works, provenance, confirmation prompts, open protocols and all. Anthropic even open-sourced the whole plugin suite on GitHub, a smart play to become the default infrastructure rather than just another vendor. Law firms that treat this as a side experiment rather than a core workflow decision are going to feel it, and sooner than they think.
Alex.
The AI notetaker that gets the hard words right
Your AI is only as good as what you feed it. Feed it a transcript with your product names, acronyms, and numbers spelled wrong, and you spend the afternoon hand-fixing the output.
Wispr Flow Notetaker uses your dictionary and calendar, so product names, acronyms, numbers, and uncommon names come out spelled right. It pops up when your meeting starts and captures Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, and Slack huddles with one click, no bot joining the call.
Then your meetings show up inside Claude or ChatGPT through the built-in connector. No copy paste. Try Notetaker free on Mac and Windows.
